David Wilson, MBA
David is cofounder and CEO of Wilson Executive Group. He also serves as Director of the Center for Sales Leadership and Professor of Sales and Marketing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
A U.S. Air Force veteran and retired UPS sales and marketing executive, David brings more than 30 years of business leadership and training experience. He specializes in consultative sales training, persuasive communication, and leadership development. As an educator and keynote speaker, he connects real business experience with an engaging approach to learning.
Away from work, David enjoys road cycling, strength training, and international travel. He and Christy also enjoy hiking with their German Shepherd, Wilson, and tending their beehives.

Christy H. Wilson
Christy is cofounder and CEO of Wilson Executive Group, where she partners with executives, leadership teams, and organizations to strengthen how people lead, communicate, and work together. She also serves as a faculty member in Samford University’s Professional Studies Department.
With more than 25 years of experience in human capital and leadership development, Christy helps successful professionals prepare for the personal growth required at the next level of leadership. Her approach combines thoughtful conversation, practical structure, and accountability, giving leaders and teams space to see themselves more clearly and put growth into practice.
Outside work, Christy enjoys international travel, hiking, and personal fitness. She and David are enthusiastic beekeepers, a shared interest that inspired Leadership Buzz and its lessons about leadership and teamwork.
